Shell Eco Marathon 2018

San Antonio College Team shines again at the Shell Eco Marath on in Sonoma, CA from 18 - 22 April. The team won the Design Award with its sleek, stunning, aerodynamic design! They brought home $4000 in prize money.

Also, during the fuel efficiency competition our Hydrogen Fuel Cell Vehicle (HFCV), named Shark Bait (from the Finding Nemo movie – Ooh Ha Ha) placed fourth out of 9 vehicles in the prototype hydrogen fuel category getting 945 mpge (14% increase over the 829 mgpe achieved last year).
